Travel Day
Travel Day is a narrative game on the Gameboy about making the trip to go see your long distance partner. It's really short (takes less than 10 minutes to finish).
The game takes you through 3 different levels before getting to your destination.

I actually finished the game around a year and a half ago but I am only publishing it now.
This game is very inspired by another Gameboy game: Adulting! by Eric Wilder. It's a fantastic little game that I recommend everyone to check out.
I have included in the downloads the GB Studio project along with all the files used, and also the development versions to let you have a look at the how the game evolved before it was finished.
I've also made an original color version, in which the game is recolored to (hopefully) look like the web version, if you still want these beautiful green hues but your emulator doesn't have the correct palette.
There is also a colorized version, with the sprites having a bit of color, but it is more of a proof of concept; the game wasn't designed with the Gameboy Color in mind.

This is such a cute game and the minigames were implemented well!!
Thank you! I'll let you in on a little secret: if you go to the end and talk to the pilot in the airport, you can get a bonus level where you have to fly into the birds ;) (it's kinda gruesome but I found the animation + sound so satisfying I had to include it somewhere)
